Don't they have those safe needle spots? Maybe get a whole bunch from them and tie them together? :D

Yeah. This is a stupendously curious development. Spill!

As a gaming man I will wager it has to do with creating a fitness tool. Perhaps ala the bowflex?

Locate a marine chandler, one who supplies the commercial fishing industry.
Commercial trollers use surgical tubing as shock absorbers and buy it by the roll.

Not in Vancouver but seems they ship worldwide...

Murdock Industrial Inc.

Medical/Surgical Tubing Formulation ND-100-65 (http://emurdock.com/medicalsurgicaltubingformulationnd-100-65.aspx)

They have both 50 and 100' foot lengths of various diameters... not sure if it is the type you are looking for... I don't think it is too surprising that you aren't getting many responses to such an esoteric inquiry. ;)

Based on what I am seeing I think surgical tubing has evolved beyond that old manila coloured tubing that you are probably thinking of and now have formulations that are much more advanced.... it could be that what you are really looking for are what are now called resistance tubing/bands...
