Hi -

I upgrade from a 2.2 GHz 2007 15-inch MBp running OS 10.6.8 to a 2011 13-inch MBp running 10.7.3 and now I have WiFi problems I can't seem to resolve.

On the old MBp with SL I used to get the full bars and the WiFi connection was fine and stable - on the new MBp with lion I only get about half the number of bars and the WiFi connection drops every few hours or so.
Most annoying.
This with the identical WiFi set up as before, only the Mac hardware and software changed.
I know there were WiFi issues reported with Lion early on but 7.3 was supposed to address that.
Are there any adjustments/settings I should look at that might improve things?
I migrated from 106 to 10.7 and the new Mac using Migration Assistant - maybe some setting didn't come across properly????

Thanks.

Maybe try a shutdown and a cold boot using 'Safe Boot Mode" and see if things improve??

Not all things will work, but it should stop any non-apple stuff from loading in case something is causing the weak signal.

A couple things to try:

Turn Airport off and then on.
Power down your router for 15 seconds (unplug it's power source).
I've heard that moving your Wi-Fi to the top of the list might help (Network System Preferences-Advanced)
Delete your existing Wi-Fi networks and then add them again.
