Appliance help needed: bad dryer

Just make darned sure to completely unplug that massive cord in behind. The current in these things is lethal.

But I've had a lot of good luck in keeping my dryer going, replacing heating elements and other parts with relative ease.

Depending on the design, could also be the drive belt. If it is that, it will be very obvious once you start to disassemble. Usually fairly easy and cheap to replace.
