mic MAC

Just in the past few days my Imac has been acting strange..im using the Apple Bluetooth Magic Trackpad...upon waking from sleep mode the pointer on the screen sometimes acts odd...it kinda jumps around the screen and misses spots on the desktop...when you try to click on something the pointer will not go to the place you want to click it sorta skips over and around it.
Its not a low battery issue... they are new and showing 97% power....the only way i can get it to work normal again is to turn off the trackpad and turn it back on again and it will work fine.
The really odd thing is my Macbooks built in trackpad is now doing the same thing too..for that i have to restart the macbook and the issue goes away...both these machines just started doing this in the past 2 days and again only when they are recovering from sleep mode.
Anyone got any ideas?? or am i being possessed by some evil Mac presence??
