: Super sensitive trackpad

Been using an Apple trackpad with my Mac Mini for more than a year. No problem. Then I upgraded this Mac to Lion. Ever since then it's become super sensitive. Just slide the pointer into any degree of proximity with a button and boom, that button executes. Same trackpad, same user, same Mac. Only difference is the upgrade to Lion.

Any way to ratchet down the sensitivity?

Much appreciated.

With the installation of Lion, tap to click probably reverted to default on:

Uncheck it and it should be fine.

Yeah, the tap to click is pretty much useless. I enabled mine and all it does is clicking all over the place when trying to click, click drag or secondary click..

Although it won't help with the sensitivity issue, MagicPrefs will give you a whole bunch more options with the Trackpad than you have currently. I just got a MagicMouse and read about this little app and it is terrific. And it's free. :)

Downloaded and installed. What a great website for what looks like it will be a great little product. And at a remarkable price!

Much thanks for this.
