Hello all, i have a box set of dvds and two of the discs have scratchs which inhibit their playing. So the question is....is there a way to repair them.
There are systems that are designed to re-surface optical disks. Try looking at your local video game store for one; if you only need a couple disks done they may offer the service themselves.
I've had good luck with game store resurfacing (5 bucks a disk), and hardly any love with the systems you buy that involve chemicals and spinning them around inside a cartridge.
If they are not to bad I have had good luck with Pledge furniture polish.
Rub it in and wipe it off with a soft cloth. Let it sit for a few moment.
