I'm trying to remember the name of a vampire movie I saw on TV in the late 70's/early 80's that scared the crap outta me when I was a kid...
Here is what I do remember:
- outdoor scene
- coastal cemetery site
- a couple of men dig down to a coffin
- coffin reveal is empty, but has a false wall which leads to an underground tunnel (catacombs?)
- one of the men enters
- in the tunnel, the man meets a young woman in a white (wedding?) dress
- the woman had a pale white face and black eyeballs (yes, her whole eyes)
- while slowly walking toward the man, she reaches forward with out stretched arms and sorrowfully moans "daddy, daddy" (possibly says "father"?)
- they embrace and she attempts to bite his neck
The ending I remember (may or may not be from this movie):
- the lead male vampire is impaled (or tied) to a sail boat's mast as it sets out to sea when the morning sun finally destroys him
Any help? Even if you don't know, post your best guess and I'll review the title on IMDb.
