I think this is exactly like the one I have, which as of this posting is two generations old. The iMac line has been refreshed twice since this one, but make no mistake about it, this beast is fast!

That could also have been deduced from the fact that AppleCare coverage extends to Nov 29th 2012. Which also answers those who have enquired when I bought it but also don't wish to receive e-mails.

Reason for selling ? For the past eight years I have been a devotee of the flight simulator X-plane.com and the long-awaited upgrade to X-plane 10 has finally come to fruition. In fact the (8) disc package finally arrived in the mail this very morning. This latest revision calls for a faster CPU, improved graphics with as much VRAM and RAM as you can provide. I have been assured by Laminar Research that a BTO May/2011 edition of iMac will more than meet those demands.

Thanks for your interest.

Thanks
