I'm looking at upgrading my original iPhone - jailbroken and unlocked. Bought 2 weeks after the launch in Buffalo, protected by a full body Invisibleshield until now - the film was yellowing & the edges were ratty so I removed the body cover, left the screen shield on. It's in immaculate condition. My wife's been using it since the 3G came out in canada. :) No data plan - I had rogers block data on the number back when they actually did that.

Anyone know what I would get for it?

P.S. it uses the full size sim card, so it can be used without having to get a microsim.

How's Battery life? I wouldn't think you'll get more than $150 for it, and that might be generous. Did you look to see what they were selling for on eBay?

I've cycled it a few times over the years. It still lasts 1-2 days depending on usage when I have it (a bit better than my 4s). My wife leaves it in her purse for a week or so pretty much only using it for text and a few calls.

I've checked ebay - there's 2 as far as I can tell, one for $100 and one for $500 (selling as is, a "part of history"). People are selling parts for $50-60, so maybe a complete one is worth $500. :D

I have the dock and a couple of different cases for it, including a Sena leather flip top. That should add a few bucks.

I've repaired a few of them and then resold them for a small amount of profit. Recently sold a good condition iPhone 2g, 4Gb for $80, but had to hold out for a few weeks for that. Otherwise I sold an 8gb one in great condition for $110 2-3 months ago.

Keep in mind that it's 4 years old, and actually doesn't run newer apps due to iOS requirements. I'd suggest starting at $120 but go down to $85-90. Expect lots of low ball $60 offers if posted on kijiji or Craigslist.
