Any reason why this would be happening every time I make a new tab?

I've been getting a lot of safari glitches the last while it seems, on any machine.

Such is progress I guess.

Same here. Maybe there's extra special Apple sauce in it.

Can you not use any other browser? or must you use every app Apple creates?

Can you not use any other browser? or must you use every app Apple creates?Where'd you get that idea? Because I asked a question about Safari? How quaint. And this is coming from the guy with the Apple avatar. :heybaby:

Firefox and Chrome are completely fine. No glitches.

The odd thing is it doesn't happen every time I do it in Safari. But it happens often.

That said, I tried changing my new tab preference to go to a site, or the bookmarks rather than the Top Sites window. The glitch does not appear when I create a new tab with a homepage. However if I set the new tab preference to show my bookmarks, but the glitch is less pronounced, and does not linger (it disappears much faster).

I simply asked if you could use other browsers... I did not ask whether you tested them for this glitch. IF you are having issues, you could of used another browser.... That's all I meant... Sorry if I offended you.... :)

I was joking. The wording of your post came off in an odd way if you read it a certain way it would sound like you were being sarcastic. (Hence the :heybaby: emoticon).

Safari to me seem fairly ok until they added top sites. Whether you have it on or not, safari seems to have gone down for me. Even flash runs way better in other browsers.

I guess it was my second question that made it sarcastic...

By the way, what happened to your avatar Manny?

I removed it. I'm going to be putting up a new one soon.

Just got the same screen problem, It seems to be cache corruption,
Most likely a design problem with Safari itself.

I think the only cure for it would be to change the way Safari opens from the start,
Maybe Apple will fix that in the next revision.

I didn't get the problem making tabs,
My problem happened when Safari started up and returned to the last page viewed,
The last page looked like it became corrupted while stored in Safari's cache.

In any case have fun with it.

I had a sneaking suspicion that it might be a cache issue as I noticed that if I cleared it, and visited a site, I could make out bits of images and such. Regardless, Apple's discussion boards proved fruitless.

In any case have fun with it.

Consider it done. :D

Just had it happen again on ehMac, Tried to take a screenshot,
But it came out blank, Guess it won't capture using SnapZ ProX.

In fact SnapZ ProX appears to be wonky under Lion,
I think I'll have to see if there is an update for it.

Edit:
Just updated SnapZ ProX, Works fine now under Lion.
