Apple Mac Pro 4,1 Quad Core 2.66MHZ Nehalem (2009 model) - No longer available
This Apple MacPro 4,1 version 2009 model was purchased new in May 2009. I have never had any issues with it and it's still a smoking fast, professional computer. The only reason I am selling is that I am "downsizing" to a 27" iMac and I don't need two computers. The computer is in very clean, mint condition. It has always been raised off the floor so there is no shoe scuffs on it's neat aluminum frame. No dings, no scuffs, no scratches - used in a non-smoking home office, looks good as new.
I also upgraded the MacPro by installing a Sonnet Allegro PCI-e 4-port USB 2.0 card to give it 7 USB ports on the back. I have all the original packaging, software DVD's, manuals etc. This is a daily workhorse for any graphic designer. I can also perform a clean install of either OSX 10.7 (Lion) or OSX 10.6.8 (Snow Leopard) as requested.
MacPro Specs:
Quad Core Xeon Intel Chip (Nehalem) @ 2.66MHZ (8 threads)
6GB RAM
Nvidia GeForce GT120 512MB Video
Original 640GB Seagate HDD
Western Digital 1.0TB HDD
2 empty HDD slots - I can add 2 x 500GB HDD for a super fast RAID for $50
Superdrive (DVD/R/RW) w/empty optical slot
Sonnet Allegro PCI-e USB 4 port USB card
Bluetooth and Airport Extreme Card
All the other usual ports and stuff as standard - Firewire (x3), USB (x5), Ethernet (x2), audio, etc.
My plans for an iMac have fallen through so I have taken the money I saved for my new system and I reinvested in my old system - new monitor, more RAM and SSD boot drive and a new video card. This should hold me for a few years and I'll try again then
