After much consideration, I've decided to get a Macbook Air for field work (I need something lighter). I am selling my mint condition Macbook Pro 13" i7 2.7ghz with plenty of warranty left. I purchased this machine the day after they were released in February. The machine is in 10/10 shape, from day one I have had a keyboard, trackpad and palmwrest protector on it, so everything is in brand new condition. There is not one single scratch on this machine anywhere.

I am pricing this machine at two price points depending on the options you want:

$1400 with 500gb HD 5400 rpm drive and 4gb ram
OR
$1700 with Intel 120GB SSD (Super fast drive, machine boots up in under 11 seconds) and 8gb ram. The machine really screams in speed with these upgrades. The SSD cost me $300 + tax alone and has a full warranty from Intel. The RAM upgrade was about $100. I can provide receipts for these (from Canada Computers) if you ever need it for warranty purposes.

Please note, the MBP comes with everything, original box, cd's, power adapter and receipt from the Apple store. I can send pictures if you PM me only. Also I am located in Ottawa and can meet locally in a public place or I can ship within Canada at buyer's expense. I can accept payments via cash in person or email money transfer if I have to ship.

Hey, my ex-wife is looking for such a machine, but you seem to be in such a hurry! (No matrimonial comments, please.) Plus she would not understand your email if I forwarded it You speak geekspeak- OBO-PM-MBP.

I won't be talking to her til next Monday, so rack this up as a lost sale! (It's not like I am the motivated buyer, eh.)

Hey Dr. T, it doesn't look like I will be selling the machine by this weekend. I still have to reformat the machine and backup my current data. I will most not likely get the chance to do this until after Canada day is over. Just let her I am open to reasonable cash offers. If she needs to contact me, you can message me here on Ehmac and I will send you my email address. By the way, what city is your ex located in?

Airport designations are standard, official, and a matter of public record. Plus, I figured if others here list their location as YYZ, I could use YGG for mine. It should be marginally more informative to EhMacians, than, say, 'halfway from Fulford to Ruckle', as you hafta be a YGGian to understand that. Anyway, I am not trying to sell anything.
Cheers.

It's OK Dr.T, I was just trying to be funny, and point out the irony. The terms you referred to in your post (OBO, PM, MBP etc.) are also pretty obvious to people who are familiar with bulletin boards and Apple, just as IATA designations are familiar to frequent travellers.

Cheers

Yeah, I got your humour. But I cannot keep up with the ad hoc abbrevs.

The abbreviations that the OP (see here is another one OP= Original Poster) used are common place in forums and on the internet... If you think that was bad you should see how kids text these days, or acronyms and abbreviations used in government...

When in doubt Google is your friend.... you just have to search and educate yourself. I have to and so does everyone else when they aren't familiar with an abbreviation's meaning. These abbreviations are here to stay whether you like it or not and I am not trying to be a smart ass here, it is just a fact of life on the web and we all have to learn or get lost in the dust.

Guys can we keep this post relevant to my sale and not about acronyms? It would be much appreciated, thanks.

It keeps getting your sale bumped up to the top... ;)

It is the nature of a classified system like this... posts aren't always going to be about your product for sale... but as I said it does serve to bring your sale back to the top, maybe not for the reasons you would like but c'est la vie.

Good luck with the sale... nice machine if I had the $$$ I would be all over it.
