Is this the "Classifieds" or the "Price Check" sub-forum???
There doesn't seem to be much actually for sale here any more.
:(

The Classifieds are in the sub-forums above this section in the forums "Mac Desktops", "Mac Portables" etc...

To clarify this forum (where you posted this thread) is technically the "Classifieds" forum, the others (where all the items are listed) are all just sub-forums of this ... so it can't be renamed as you suggest or all the actual classifieds would be sub-forums of the "Price Check" forum :)

This isn't the right place for this thread IMO, I think it is more appropriately in the "Info Centre" section... might want to consider moving it there ehMax.

But staples57 does have a point, a "Price Check" thread may be warranted in the Classifieds section as these kind of posts are made quite frequently in the "Anything Mac" section where I think in fact they would be more at home in a "Price Check" thread in the Classifieds section.

Just a thought on my part, for whatever it is worth. :)

Price check.... Another way of asking 'I wonder if there's someone who'll pay me what I bought this for new five years ago'

It takes about all of 5 mins to see what your 'whatever' is worth by checking online. C'mon, rly?

lol

I think that the Price Check type of posts correctly belong within Classifieds, since in the past they were abused as thinly disguised sales posts.
