I want to get rid of this, so make an offer.

That's the model with the coffee cup drive!

I know, but people don't appreciate those anymore...such a shame.

Only works with OS9! I'd snatch it in a second, but I'm drinking coffee from my own right now.

Actually works up to Tiger.

The coffee tray is Tiger-compatible? Leave it to Apple!

Nice thing is that the tray can also take the mini disks.

I have one of those and used it with 10.4.11 until about a year ago.
Great upgrade capability - I had two 120 Gig IDE drives in it and two 1 TB SATA drives, plus a USB 2.0 PCI card and a PCI TV Tuner card I used to digitize VHS tapes and record TV shows.
With a "hack" you can actually install Leopard in it - but that's the end of the line.
Unit runs very cool and the hardware will probably last forever.

I still have a similar unit a D.A with the 1.2 stuffed to the gills with ram and hard drives. Still runs pro tools like a champ.

Great machines. Still runs all kinds of things.

Interested in parting out the ATI card?

Still have my dual G4 500 sawtooth ... killer machine that just won't die. Keep it around to run OS9 for a couple of clients I support that still use it. I ran OSX server on it for years as well.

Interested in parting out the ATI card?

It's a possibility Trev, provided I find the original gcard...PM me your offer and how you want to handle the shipping to BC.

My G4 400 Gigabit was replaced by a Mini by insurance last year, I miss a lot of OS9 games etc, but I don't have room for another Mac in the house.... don't toss it...

no one snagged this yet? I decided to keep mine because, well, because!

Too awesome a machine. And man does OS 9 fly on it.

Unbelievable, eh?

Oh well, I'll give it a bit and then off to the recycler.

Trouble is that these systems sell for around $100.- so shipping them anywhere doesn't make much sense.
Really only a viable option for local pick up and if somebody needs this type of system to run some older software.

I can offer $100 but I don't want to insult you!

If we were in the same part of the world I happily would offer to give it a good home, but hardly worth the cost of shipping it halfway across the country.

Donate it. If it works fine, throwing it out is wasteful.
