I have noticed since the 1st beta of Quark 6 that double clicking on a picture box no longer opens the dialogue box that allows you to open the origional image. I thought that this was just one of those loose ends that hadn't been completed, only to find the same deal on version 6.0. Unbelievable! I cannot find one difference excepting the splash screen, from the first beta 1284.
Weak effort quark!

As long as it has taken, I'm still convinced the latest release was rushed to market. To provide competitive features to InDesign would have taken another 6 months to a year.
BTW, that's one of my favourite features in ID - select a picture and "Edit Original" - opens in the creation app.

Andreww, do you have a final commercially released version of QXP 6.0? When did you order the software?

Coyote, yes I do, but if I told you....
For all of you who think that Q6 is the key to happinness, forget it. Yes this version has been rushed to market, and it is definately unfinished. One look at the resorces for this app shows alot of loose ends including Quark's much talked about licensing plan. In case you have not heard it goes something like this. Buy the SW, Call quark for SN. If you change anything on your mac such as Ram, OS, HD. etc, you will have to call Quark for a new SN.

Thanks Andreww. Personally, I don't like software publishers knowing everything about my computer's software and hardware configurations. It seems intrusive and not anything they need to know.
