Free to anyone who wants to pick it up. Not shipping it - sorry. I live in Toronto, near Bayview and Eglinton.
As per the title - it works, it's a G3 Powerbook, 300 MHz (known as a "PDQ" - quite similar to the Wallstreet model that preceded it)
PowerBook G3 300 (PDQ - Late 1998) Specs (Late 1998/PDQ, M7111LL/A*, N/A, M4753, N/A) @ EveryMac.com (http://www.everymac.com/systems/apple/powerbook_g3/stats/powerbook_g3_300.html)
It has 288 MB of RAM installed, a 10GB hard drive and runs 9.2.2. It also has a Macally USB PCMCIA card so you can connect a USB mouse or other USB 1.1 peripheral if you wish. It's in good overall condition.
It was my 84-year old mother's and she hasn't used it in 5 years since she started going blind. Starts up fine but I have no idea what sort of charge the battery holds. The power adapter is one of the round ones that Apple replaced the originals with.
It has some software installed - Quicken, MS Office 98, Appleworks 6, Photoshop 5.5 etc. I've just installed Netscape 7.01 and am still trying to pull some files off it before deleting all personal stuff. I do have an old OS 9.0 disk which can go with it - it is running 9.2.2 at the moment.
So - let me know if you want it!
