I bought the original Apple TV as it has RCA jacks and the new one doesn't. I have a perfectly fine big screen TV in my basement rec-room that doesn't have HDMI and I would like to watch movies from my media server down there. It will suit my needs just fine.

But I'd prefer one with an analog audio out.
