: Firewire card in Beige G3 upgraded vectra Jun 5th, 2003, 02:10 PM I have installed a "no name" firewire card into the PCI slot of my Beige mac. The system profiler sees the card but my firewire drive does not show up when the cable is inserted. Any ideas? Could it be the chipset that is in the firewire card is not supported?
