So I have to write an exam in a few weeks and am only permitted to use a PC laptop running Windows. Mac laptops running Windows are also prohibited.
The major hurdles of the exam is the time constraint and I'm really worried that the laptop I receive only a couple days before my exam will slow me down due to unfamiliarity.
However I do have a wireless mac keyboard (pic related) and am wondering if anyone has successfully used a mac keyboard with Windows 7.
If so, did you run into any problems?

Mac laptops running Windows are also prohibited.
HAHAHA what rational explanation was given for that?

That has to be the nuttiest thing I've ever heard. I'd love to hear the explanation!!!
Various answers about the keyboard with a PC:

The main problem will be that the function keys won't work and someone complained about the backspace too (?).
Somehow, I doubt the keyboard will be the biggest issue when getting used to the PC. I'd just use the built-in keyboard if I were you, and concentrate on getting familiar enough with Windows to get the test done.
What on earth is the test for and why no Macs? Just curious... ;)

I don't see how using the mac keyboard is going to help anything.

It's actually an accounting exam for Certified Management Accountants of Ontario.
They basically give you a business case and you have 4 hours to write a report. I have the option to write it by hand, but I type 1000x faster and the course moderators urge people to do it on a computer. The software you use (if taking the computer option) also gives you access to a rudimentary spreadsheet for calculations.
I'm using a software called securexam and on the Application maker's website it says they support Macs. My only guess is the people at the CMA only have the license for an older version which only technically supports PC.

I'm really only going to be typing in a Word type application for those 4 hours.
