Last bump before recycling.

Instead of recycling why not just give them to someone for free?

Thanks for the suggestion. That's always been one option.

Another is someone offering to pay 'something' for this stuff rather than scoring a freebie. I've already opened the door to negotiating, but no one's come in. Anyway, we're not talking big bucks here, and my time and energy following through on this is worth more than I'd ever get for it.

I've already dealt with organizations in the GTA that will 'donate' reusable stuff to agencies for training purposes etc., but they actually charge you a 'processing' fee. And bear in mind, even though they're in excellent condition, these units are pretty old technology and are likely of interest/use only to 'collectors' and 'resellers' of vintage Mac stuff. That's not me, I just want to unload some excess baggage/memories as fuss-free as possible.

I'll see how the next week or so unfolds. Once this is out of the way, I've got a collection of old ram that I'll likely give away, and a sealed Leopard 10.5 Full Retail (MB427Z/A) I'll try to sell, although I notice there's a 'new' one already posted. But first things first.
