Few months, not a couple. I received it on Sept. 1 and AppleCare remains until August 31. I guess its 6 mths left, not 8, my apologies.

Really nice machine! Apple refurb full 1 yr warranty delivered to your door $1799, I guess you are saving us the taxes and adding extra original software discs though. Still a good deal, wish I had the cash!
