Hello

Although I've been a member since 2003, I don't visit Eh Mac regularly. I'm in the GTA, and I'd like to post a classified to sell a pristine legacy Mac Plus. However, when I took a peek at the classified post requirements, it seems you have to have at least 30 posts under your belt, and I don't. Does that mean I'm out of luck?

If I'm allowed to post, I'm not sure how to go about it, i.e what's the process, or how do I learn about the process. I can write up a description and take a photo or 2 for attaching, but then what?

If I do post, I'd prefer feedback to be as fuss-free as possible, probably by email and then follow-up by phone. Does that make sense?

Any guidance will be much appreciated!

You're only temporarily out of luck wwj. Just keep posting non-spam such as you are and soon you'll be able to list your legacy Mac in the classifieds.

Come play the two word game, or say hello in the Shangrila thread or participate in any of the discussion threads and you'll soon hit the required 30 posts.

Good luck!

This (http://www.ehmac.ca/classifieds-info-centre/73856-ehmac-classifieds-rules-guidelines-must-read.html) should answer most of your questions.

I did consult the classifieds guidelines and that helped, but I also learned that you need to have posted at least 30 times before you can run a classified. In 7 years I've posted 5 or 6 times -- infrequent is the right word! -- , so I've got some catching up to do.

There's no rush. I've got a pristine Mac Plus that's been boxed for about 15 years, so it can wait a bit longer to get sold.
