I got a popup ad today (on clicking an area within the classifieds, looked like an "exit" popup probably driven by js with a mouse click event and the link was an ehmac one!). I had no other sites open and had opened no other sites at all since I launched safari.

Not a big deal, but I thought it was worth documenting in case it starts happening more frequently. It was from something like "Opinion Center" asking me to take part in a survey.

If anyone sees it again, please take screen shot or jot down the address etc... I'll make sure its zapped. Don't want pop-up ads here... EVER.

It's an ad generated through Adsense that's going through a 3rd party network. There aren't supposed to be pop-ups, but this got through.

Not a survey related to ehMac at all.

I think I've blocked it through the settings. Have blocked ads pointing to opinionmart.com. That should work if that's the URL its going to. If someone else sees it again, please note what URL the ad is pointing to and I'll block that.

I HATE pop-ups.

Thanks Mr Mayor. I know you love popups as much as I do which is why I reported it. Glad someone else caught a screen snap of it. That's the one I saw today too.

I just got the pop-up again. Found three more URL's associated with the pop-up that I blocked. Hopefully this ad is zapped.

Is it meant to be there?, Didn't take a screen shot, Thought perhaps it was part of the upgrade.

The word "Tweet" appeared sideways in an elongated box beside my reply entry box.

Just installed new software. It was a feature in the new software. The first thing I do when I get new software is play with all the new features and turn stuff on and off.
