Okay, you guys know how it is. Making room, cleaning up, moving stuff out.
I played with some vintage Macs for a while, and have quite a collection of stuff. This would be of interest to someone who is already into the old gear, or possibly a curious son or daughter. But, if you just want to play, it's complete enough that you could waste away many hours and have some fun.
I want to sell the whole lot to one person. I will ship in Canada, but suggest we use a slow, cheap method. It will weigh something and take up more than one box.
Price: $99 for everything. I'm open to any and all interesting trades or offers.
There is a lot of stuff, trust me; I wouldn't be surprised to find you're paying less than a buck per item at the listing price. I'll update the list once I dig it all out, I don't want to list details until I can confirm them, but basically you will have:
A Macintosh SE-30
A Macintosh Powerbook 180c
Lots of accessories for these units, much of which will also work with other older Macs.
Lots of software for these and compatible on other older Macs. Some of it would be useful for OS8 and OS9 machines. I've got a go-ahead from the Mayor to include the software in this listing.
Lots of books and manuals that refer to Vintage Macs.
A bunch of MacAddict CDs with more useful software, some of it full (licensed) versions of apps and plenty of applicable freeware and shareware. Of course you won't be able to load the CDs directly (no drives) but you should be able to network them and use another Mac to move data from the optical disks.
As is, of course, but I will check it all out and give you the low-down when I get some time. I will have to go through the units and wipe any personal data. Both machines worked fine the last time I actually booted them.
