Hi all,

Can someone give me a price on the following package please?...

13"
2.4 GHz Intel Core 2 Duo processor
4 GB RAM (upgraded from 2 GB at the Apple Store)
250 GB hard drive

This is the aluminum unibody model, not the white plastic one.

Purchased it from the Apple Store in January, 2009.
I put 3 years of AppleCare on it and that expires in January 11, 2012.

It also comes with:
- an Invisible Shield installed ($55 US)
- a Speck case ($55)
- a Moshi ClearGuard keyboard guard ($30)
- a Moshi iVisor anti-reflective screen protector (I think this was $35)

It has not been dropped or damaged in any way. It is in perfect shape.
I had the charger replaced by Apple recently as the small green/orange light on the charger would not come on sometimes when the computer was charging. They replaced the charger under AppleCare without issue.

It will also come with Snow Leopard, iLife '11 and iWork '09 installed and discs.

The computer comes with the original box, manuals and discs.

I'm thinking in the $1100 range. Does that seem low, high or fair? And if I'm off on the price can anyone offer any suggestions?

Thanks in advance.

Looks like a good price to me. Not drop-your-pants low and not too high if people want the extras.

Tough price, you're competing with same spec MacBook Pro refurbs...

I have to agree.

I purchased same spec machine this past February for 850CAN still had warranty until May 2010 and I've extended mine until May 2012. Upgraded to Spec clearshell, M-Stand, and loving it. Still even with current MBP the bottom 13" has the same 2.4Ghz P8600 cpu with only the new NVidia 320M chipset - a better improvement.

These machines are still incredible performance - your package is a tad high ... I'd say 950-1000 is fair due to the Apple care already applied and the software included.

But you should be willing to sell the software [iLife 11, etc] and extras [keep spec shell] for that low price I've suggested. Still this is a good deal just hurt by the MBP refurbs currently.
