I noticed this morning that the "times" of the posts to mac forums is about one hour ahead of my EST. Curious about this.
My satellite TV and my iMac both say 10:40AM.

What are your time zone and daylight savings settings on in the User CP?

Very strange. I send this query and the times stated on other postings change to current EST and ones posted earlier are changed.

Were you logged in when browsing? (Before you posted and the times were "off".)

I was not logged in when I noticed the times being "off" (ahead).
Came back on just now and before logging in noticed the same hour ahead in the times of postings until I logged in and they changed to current EST times.
Why is this the case? Maybe the explanation is above my pay grade.

It means the "default" view uses a different time zone to you. (Default view is GMT-4.)

Thank you for that explanation. Appreciated.
