: Can't make threads? Just delete my account

I made what I thought was a pretty decent thread, but I got a message saying it needed to be approved. That was a few weeks ago. Still isn't up. I presume I still can't make threads. Just delete my account if that's the way it is here.

I believe to help reduce spam the forum has a 30 days or 30 posts restriction where new threads (and posts?) may be flagged for approval. As you can see you can create a new thread, so, perhaps you could go ahead and try starting your other one again.

The first 5 posts from a new member MAY be placed in a moderation queue if they contain certain keywords that are often associated with spam posts. The queue is moderated about once every 24 hours. Sometimes a lot more, occasionally a bit longer.

I'd reckon it's about a month since my thread went in the queue then. I believe is was called "is this bad journalism, or is it me?" or something to that effect. Can you tell me why it was rejected?

Don't remember seeing that.

Folks, what we have here is clearly a failure to communicate.

Yeah, delete mine as well. Twitter is more immediate for my likes. I don't even see a way to delete my account by myself. It shouldn't take more than 24 hrs to approve or state why something wasn't approved; so it can be edited.

Why you think someone should be at your beckon call awaiting to approve a message?

Don't you know good things come to those who wait? Patience is a virtue.
