Hi ehMacians!

This "Movember", the month formerly known as November I the Mayor, have decided to donate my handsome face to raising awareness about prostate cancer. My donation and commitment is the growth of a moustache for the entire month of Movember, which I know will generate conversation, controversy and laughter. (I'll be sure to post photos!)

I’m doing this because about 8 years ago, my Dad was diagnosed with prostate cancer. He had to have major, evasive surgery to battle the disease, which thankfully allowed him to survive, but forever changed his life. He was blessed to make it. Unfortunately, 4,400 men die of prostate cancer in Canada each year and one in six men will be diagnosed during his lifetime. :( :-(

This is a cause that I feel passionately about and I’m asking you to support my efforts by making a donation to Prostate Cancer Canada.

Freddy... :D :lmao: I've grown a stache before and... it don't look pretty. :) I think that's partly why this is such a neat cause to raise awareness... I'd grow a mo if I could to help, but in lieu of sprouting face fur (gimme a few years), I've submitted a donation to this important cause.

My family has been struck incredibly hard by this particular form of cancer. Two relatives have passed away, including my own Dad. One fabulous uncle has fought a long valiant battle, but is now terminally ill.

Three others, including my dear husband, continue the fight. We all lose if they do not win.

Think there is $75 more coming in. It is going to be really, really close with my friend. I think he has about $250-$300 coming in, which may put him over the edge. :yikes:
