I hate the design of the new connector. Several times since I got it about two weeks back, I plugged it in and got no lights or no charge. Problem is you don't notice it until its been sitting there draining the battery for a few hours. Remofing and reinserting the plug fixes it, but that never happened once with my old style plug.

Maybe you have a faulty one?

I love the new design, 'cause I can carry one "travel" MagSafe in my bag and it'll work with and charge both the MBP and the MBA. :D
