It depends whether it is the current model or previous generation. Currently they sell for 249$ and 279$ on the refurb site. So you could probably get that and they can save the tax and wait!

Another option is to keep it and backup :) (unless you already have one).

It is current generation. Thanks didn't think Apple refurbished as a starting point.
