I have a 17" MacBook Pro with a bad logic board. System will power up, but no video or startup chime. Everything else is working properly, and the clamshell and keyboard are brand new. I've tested the clamshell, RAM, left I/O board, optical drive, top case, battery, etc. on another system. Everything works properly when used with another logic board.

Here are the specs of the system:
-2.33 MHz Core2 Duo
-256MB Video
-17" Antiglare (matte) screen (new)
-2GB DDR2 RAM
Please note, there is NO hard drive installed, but all of the mounting screws and bracket are inside and there is no power adapter included. Very minor scuffs around rear corners.

High res display? Also how's the battery life? A serial number would help to look up repairs.

As far as I know, the only display options for this model were glossy or matte. This is one has the matte screen with a resolution of 1920x1200.
-Battery life was in the 1.5H-2H range depending on disk usage.
-Serial Number: W86482N8W0J, part needed: 661-4235

I've also had a few PM's about the state of the board. There is no liquid damage on it, so it would qualify as an exchange part if you're ordering it directly from Apple.
