My default setting was to receive instant emails on any threads in which I post or respond. I no longer wish this to happen, so I went to my settings in User CP and disabled email notification, choosing "never".

My emails do not stop. I still keep receiving individual emails for all the threads in which I am (or was at some time in the distant past) active.

For the record, before choosing "never", I changed it to one digest per day instead of instant emails; that setting did not work either.

Has this happened to anyone else or am I alone in this? More importantly, is this a genuine problem or just me being a doorknob?
