First, the original commericial:

YouTube - Old Spice | The Man Your Man Could Smell Like (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=owGykVbfgUE)

And then, the awesomeness begins - he responds to some of the comments from the original commercial, and various tweets:

YouTube - oldspice's Channel (http://www.youtube.com/user/oldspice)

Enjoy, ladies (and maybe some laddies).

I've used Old Spice since the early 60's but after watching those I may just switch. ;)

The commercials with Isiah Mustafa aren't geared towards men. They're geared towards the women who, according to market research, are responsible for buying, for their men, 60% (or more) of men's toiletries.

(Doesn't much matter what you like, it's what the person doing the buying likes.)

I've also always bought my own shaving gear all my life. Any gifts I get on special occasions (bought by others) are my normal brands. The few times they weren't, they sat on the shelf until someone else used them or tossed them out. Of course when one still uses a straight razor weekly, the Old Spice habit is kinda ingrained. ;)

All I'm saying is you're not part of the target demographic.

Understood. And all I'm saying is that the women in my life aren't part of the target demographic either. ;)

But she may enjoy watching the commercial. I don't buy my husband aftershave either, but I find the commercial amusing, and it's reassuring to know that somewhere in this world is a goodlooking, intelligent man with a sense of humour. It's sort of a dream some of us women have.

You don't ask for much, do you ;)

It's like asking for good, cheap and fast. You can only choose any two out of the three :)

Back on topic, I have stopped using after-shaves and colognes.

Cheers

I never did. I don't really understand the appeal. I generally dislike perfumes of all sorts. It seems to me that if people shower/bathe with reasonable frequency, they shouldn't be necessary.
