I was bored and decided to browse through the Member List for S&Gs. I noticed a majority of the members on our list seem to be those who signed up once and never bothered to sign in again. I was thinking maybe it is time to clean up a lot of the dead weight in that database so if we were to go scrolling through the Member List again that you would see recently active members in there.

Maybe set the limit at a year with no sign-ins or something like that?

Is there an easy way to do it?

It kind of goes against the idea of a "community" if you cull people for not being active enough??!

In fact, you've been a member for almost 5 years but only have 500ish posts... Maybe you should be cleaned out, I mean, you're barely contributing..............

This is typical of all forums (we see the same thing at techsurvivors). You never know when someone is going to come along again - and some people lurk for years, and then suddenly have a problem and decide to post.
