: My Mac isn't recognizing my iphone connection (w/ tethering enabled)

I have a blackbook running Tiger, iphone 3G (Fido) running 3.0.

I have set up tethering on my iphone 3G, and I have read that when I plug the phone into my Mac, it is supposed to automatically detect the new network.

It's not doing this however. And when I goto system preferences... Network, no new network is showing up.

Is there something I can do to fix this? I have rebooted my phone a few times since updating the software.

Thanks

I was just reading that you need Lepoard (10.5 or above) to enable tethering... is this true?

<Edit> Yep, you need Lepoard
