This is a fairly persistent, random problem with ehMac that's been going on (for me) for years. Usually it's good for a while, then there will be a spate of repeatable instances for a few hours or days, then it's gone.

I can log in, I am careful to check the "keep logged in" checkbox, but when I go to post, hitting "reply" results in my being redirected to the login page, the post is gone, etc

Today it's happening as I'm trying to reply to a Linux install PM; since the replies are quite detailed it's frustrating to have to re-create them over and over again.

I do know enough to copy and save the posts after the first time, but that doesn't help when it refuses to keep you logged in each time you hit "reply". We'll see if this post even makes it, actually.

I have all the usual cookies:
ehmac.ca: _utma _utmb _utmc _utmz
http: // www dot ehmac dot ca: vBlastactivity vBlastvisit vBsessionhash vBpassword vBuserid vbforum_view
... and they all have contents.

There is also a problem where after logging in, I get sent to a blank login result page, that can sit there for days and not refresh. A screenshot with the Activity window is included.

Really all I want to do is help this guy get his Linux install done on a PPC machine and get back to my real job, so this is fairly frustrating, as I'm sure you can appreciate.

I know from experience it will just go away at some point, but that doesn't actually solve anything, does it?
