Well, I love my iPhone 3G but I absolutely hate that when I connect my iPhone to my Mac, or when new information gets pushed to it from MobileMe that the iPhone returns to the default ringtone for every contact. I've put them back a number of times but now I've decided to stop. It's a colossal waste of my time. Either MobileMe should not change this or it should store this information in the 'cloud'.

And I went to all the trouble of making them in the first place for nothing! Jeesh!

When I had MobileMe, I didn't have that problem at all. I had multiple custom ringtones for specific contacts. Could it be that you have it set to sync only one-way?

How do I change that?
