Does anyone know whether this Company is still in existence?

Despite several URGENT emails requesting service and repair on a RAID bought less than four months ago, they do not reply at their published email addresses.

I am afraid you don't really have a choice.

I remember reading somewhere that Elephant Storage is a rebadged product made for and sold by Carbon - though I can't find that specific link the evidence is there in the domain registration.

So you've already been dealing with Carbon when you got the drive (most likely - unless you bought it used).

Why not deal with Carbon? I've never had any problems with the 0ttawa Carbon store (the only one I've dealt with). They've always provided me with pleasant knowledgable service.

Just a point -- Carbon or not, I recommend avoiding online vendors who do not display a legal company name and street address on their web page. You have absolutely no way of knowing who you are dealing with, and in the event of a consumer complaint, warranty claim or court action if it comes to that, you have no leg to stand on. If you have no legal company name or address for the company, you have nowhere to go to assert your rights.
As we know, a web domain can disappear overnight.

There is no listing for Elephant Storage in the BBB database
There is no listing for Elephant Storage in online phone books
The warranty form PDF file doesn't even have the address or legal company name.

Guys, that is weak. Please, do it right and fix this.
