My apologies for those who have received spam through the ehMac.ca PM message system.

The spam originated from a user in Russia, who created to accounts the were named very similar to existing members.

The spammer created these two accounts:

1. The Douq (Note, not ending in "g" like the established member "The Doug")
2. Dr.G (Unlike the real "Dr.G." who has a period after the g)

I have deleted all PM sent by these two accounts, and taken other steps to prevent this from happening again from this person.

Actually kinda surprised the spammer actually took time to identify with known users to mimic their names. I guess it's likely the person looked at the member list and picked the highest post count figuring that people would trust the phished name.
