Remember that name? (http://www.theglobeandmail.com/servlet/story/RTGAM.20080710.wgtcomwave0710/BNStory/Technology/?page=rss&id=RTGAM.20080710.wgtcomwave0710)
Geez, down to the wire. They've settled their trademark dispute and the winner is?
Comwave. They now have a nice fat cheque from Apple. ;)

Actually, they still use the name iPhone.
I've seen about 10 ComWave iPhone commercials today. They're SO annoying lol.

I think Apple might give them 5 or 10 minutes to stop using "iPhone."

Minutes? As in air time?
I've been seeing these iPhone commercials for months now. I doubt that they're phasing out "iPhone". ComWave was certainly the one in the drivers seat during that deal, I'm sure they said "give us $xxx, xxx, xxx.xx and let us keep using the name too"
I remember ComWave releasing a statement that "If you ask anyone in Canada on the street what iPhone is, they'll say it's a phone by Apple. We don't like that" or something like that.
