Every once in a while my iPod Touch tells me I need to download Adobe Flash Player but attempts to do that don't work.

Is this beyond the Touch's capability or am I doing something wrong? All I want to do is view a short video clip from Flickr.

Thanks

The iPod and iPhone do not currently support Flash content.

This IS about Adobe Flash - but NOT about Touch. I've apparently downloaded Adobe Flash Player because I need it on my MacBook to play some audiobooks on "tumblereadables", a site for online books being read aloud to struggling readers (I teach). It says I have been successful. I still can't hear the audio content. Do I have to direct the Mac to use Adobe - or should it do so by default? I'm totally confused about the connections between iTunes, QuickTime, and Flip4Mac. Ahhhhhh! Pissed. Can anyone help? You've always had an answer for me in the past.

I've never had audio problems with Flash. Did you successfully download it, or successfully install it?

Why did you mention your Touch?
You can not play Flash on your Touch without jailbreaking it first.

You could convert the Flash stuff to Quicktime though and then transfer it to the Touch.

Flip4Mac is a plugin for Quicktime that lets it play Windows Media content.

Google "flash quicktime os x" without the quotes and do some reading.

Thanks for the advice. I don't think you were being nasty. I'm not as savvy as most on here. I downloaded and installed it. Must be there. Turns out the site's funky because they changed servers over the weekend; don't think it's me. The gal tried to listen with her own username without luck. So, I guess I'm fine.
Thanks, anyway.
