Hi,

I have a dual 500 G4, running OS X 10.4.11,1 Gig RAM with iPhoto 7.1.3, with one main HD with my OS' and 2 other internal HD (1 with iTune library, and one with iPhoto library & movies)

My issue, although I can see my library fine when in iPhoto, and everything runs A1 when I plug any digital camera, I am unable to set my desktop pictures from my iPhoto library, which is set on a separate drive from my main OS.

I go to (please note that the terms might not be exact, as my OS is in French), System Preferences, Desktop & Screensaver, and if I choose the iPhoto destination disk, I can see it but am unable to choose it as I cannot highlight it.

Please note that for some odd reason, my screensaver shows my iPhoto pictures (although I have NO idea how I managed to get them on there....)

What can I do ?

Thanks !

JF

delete this file:

com.apple.iapps.plist

It's in your Home Folder's Library under Preferences

Nope, did not work !

I also tried deleting com.apple.iphoto.plist and then opening iphoto and reassinging the correct library, same result !

Try using Collage Saver for screen saver.

Collage Saver 1.0.1 software download - Mac OS X - VersionTracker (http://www.versiontracker.com/dyn/moreinfo/macosx/28665)

It's issues like this that makes me detest iPhoto and far prefer GraphicConverter for photo management.

You see that little "plus" sign below? Where you are choosing your iPhoto library?

Simply click the plus, and then add the folder you want to use now. It may be the same one, and for some reason (probably a permission thing) you can't use it.
You can add multiple destinations and folders.

I might be stupid, but I do not see the plus sign ?
