Hey, I am trying to add a voice clip to a song in Garage band or Logic Express and I am having some trouble.
How do I import the sound clip in, is there a way I can set it to a key on my Midi Keyboard?
Any help is good, I am still new to recording things and then using a midi keyboard to add and what not.
Let me know if you can help me.
Thanks a lot!!

if you want to map it to a keyboard, you need to create an instrument. I haven't tried this in GB, but in LogicPro, it's fairly straight forward.

i guess there are a few ways to do this. the most basic way is to drag the audio clip into the gb song window like you do any apple loop. then copy/paste it in the song as many times as you need to.
here's the other way i think migh help you. i do it with drum samples in gb3 and i'm sure it will work in other versions:
you can assign sounds to keys on your midi keyboard and make and save your own instruments. i recorded the sound(in soundstudio) of a hi-hat, snare and kick off of my own drum kit. each sample is a only a few seconds long. then in gb i opened a midi track and chose Sound Effect>Radio Sounds. i use this instrument because it only has an octave worth of sounds and the rest are dead keys. you then hit 'shift>apple>k' to open the onscreen keyboard. take your samples and drag them on to the desired key and let go. you will have assigned that sound to the key.
you can also record the sounds in gb and then mix to itunes and then drag those sounds onto a key from an itunes folder.
i hope that makes sense and works for you.
