Hi,

I have an annoying but probably easy to solve problem. I have a DLink router at home and I keep on getting booted off my wireless network and having to retype info to rejoin the network.

My network appears under system preferences> network > airport as a preferred network already.

Does anyone know what I need to do to stop having to rejoin?

Thanks

These could be possible problems
a) interference
b) cold spot (a spot where the network connection is never good, the opposite of a hotspot :P)

They are usually simple to fix
a) go to the web interface and change the wireless channel until you find a stable one, it could be that a number uses his phone and you get booted, or that a neighbours network is booting you, change the channel, in my area channel 1, 3, 9, 11 are usually good, but it probably won't be the same for you.
b) move the computer

There's also a troubleshooting forum, for future reference you can put it there, hopefully a mod will move this thread there.

I've been getting kicked off as well, I changed my channel to 11 and everything has been smooth sailing. Tou may want to check to see if there is a firmware upgrade that needs to be done.
