Hi all,

so I've just ordered some RAM to upgrade what's currently in my system. So once I replace the RAM that Apple installed with the RAM i just ordered, am I free to sell the RAM Apple gave me? I remember reading somewhere that I should keep it just in case I need to bring it in for Apple Care to fix it, otherwise they might blame it on my DIY RAM upgrade. So do I keep it to swap back in incase I need to get a repair, or am I free to sell it off?

I would just keep the ram just in case. Like you said yourself, incase something happens, apple can blame you for a problem because your not using apple certified ram. I talked to someone at the yorkdale apple store, and that's what they told me.
