I have recently discovered a great product for simulating 2 button mouse on the trackpad and it doesn't go crazy changing all the drivers like iscroll does and it's also FREE.

You right click by holding the button trackpad button from anywhere between 0.5 seconds to 3 seconds and you can even set it to make a noise of flash the screen and if you choose to register it, it's only 6.95

It's called One Finger Snap (http://www.oldjewelsoftware.com/products/onefingersnap/).

Enjoy

I wonder why Ctrl-Click is so hard for people to use. :) I love my Logitech MX700 but on the road the single mouse button doesn't bother me a bit.

Sounds like something else I don't need!

1. I'm not giving up iScroll (http://www-users.kawo2.rwth-aachen.de/~razzfazz/iscroll2/), period. Much too convenient.

2. I have never was any issue with the driver...

3. In iScroll, you emulate the second mouse button (or cntrl-click) by simply putting 2 fingers on the trackpad and clicking... which seems simple enough. Timed keyholds are a pain - throws of my rhythm..

4. iScroll is also free.

It's not and I do, but I always carry my BT mouse. Either way eliminates the need for this other option. :)

hmmm, One Finger Snap has a free TRIAL download, otherwise it costs. Only $6.85US, but that isn't free.

iScroll2 hasn't been updated in almost a year and has a heading stating for pre-2005 i/Power books.

Ah well - I bought an IOGear BT mouse, recently reduced at Future Shop. It's pretty good. Makes all other mice seem HUGE in comparison after using it for a while!
