Can I upgrade too a 17 inch 1.67/128/512/SD etc with a 6 month old 12 inch. 1.5 756/SD and 650 cash?

I don't think so. You might find a kind soul who would want to trade down to a 12" screen. You could probably get a 17" older revision though.
