Hi everyone,

I am in need of a file defragmentation software, and since I have not used one for the last 8 some years, i was wondering if someone could point the way, to a good software.
The software I am looking for, is the type that defragments the files, and places the most used ones at reach, while the ones less used, are placed aside, in a matter of speaking.

I am using a G4 dp 867 mhz, 2 gig ram, several hard drives. runing OS 10.3.9

Thank you in advance for your replies.

Regards,
Denis

PS : I was using Disk Express Pro, but it looks like it stoped supporting systems over OS 8.6

Personally, i'd recommend Drive Genius or iDefrag. I'll include links to the product's sites.

http://www.coriolis-systems.com/iDefrag.php

i hope that helps :)

I second Drive Genius. You can burn the dmg, that you d/l, to CD and boot off of it. Some of the options are be available for trial use, but you'll need a s/n to access all the options. I don't now if Defrag is one of the free options.
