does anyone know what to do in this situation? I still have all my music in my iTunes is there any way of wiping the ipod? please help

Steve-O - If you go to your Utilities folder there should be an iPod Updater program you can run to reset the iPod to factory defaults. Otherwise you can always go to Apple's site and look for the iPod Updater program to download it.
