I get an error when repairing permissions with OnyX, it says something about (Classic) at the end. I can't remember exactly what the message is. I will copy it the next time it comes around.... just wondering if anyone might know what it means offhand?

iBook G4 1.33/ 512MB /60 gig /OS X 10.3.9

Found what the error was.. as I used OnyX again:

Error: 1

ERROR detected while verifying/repairing permissions (Classic)

Any ideas?

Use Disk Utility or Cocktail and see if those can fix the issue. Onyx.. never a fan of it. For me, never worked better than Cocktail did.

it may have to do with having a cracked os9 program- the executable file [K] may trip OnyX up.

I would think that too.. accept I don't even have os9 installed. Not even classic support :(

It's showing up after the 10.3.9 update. Don't worry about it, and check for upgrades to Onyx. For the time being you can use Disk Utility to repair permissions if necessary. And, chances are it's not necessary to repair permissions so often anyway.
